Haven't made much progress. It's far too cold to work in the garage now.

Arch Davis will be teaching a course on building the Penobscot 13 at the woodenboat school. I would love to attend. It would definitely jump start my project!

The plan

Received and have been reviewing the plans and video.  A few years back, I built a Bear Mountain cedar strip kayak (Endeavor) which was very rewarding but I do understand the commitment involved with a project of this scale.  I want to balance family life with the project so I plan to take this project slowly.  This year I hope to complete the station molds and stem.   Bought a piece of hardboard for the pattern.  Haven't decided yet on which wood to use for the stem.
